Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Programs Department and support the management of our portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Finance Coordinator

A successful candidate is highly organized, has a quantitative aptitude and a can-do attitude, and demonstrates a strong interest in developing their career in non-profit financial and/or grant management and a curiosity for global financial operations in a highly digital environment.

YLabs is seeking a global citizen, with a local and global perspective and expertise. This is a remote role, with preference for a base in the geographies where team members convene, which include the following countries: Rwanda and the USA (primary global hubs), as well as Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania and Nigeria.

We believe in an open-door policy for staff and their supervisors. Teams work together to set up daily, weekly, or bi-weekly check-ins so everyone can stay in the loop and move quickly. Our Executive Director has open office hours, we host cross-office bi-weekly check-ins, and our email newsletter helps us to share our blockers, successes, and fun facts to keep us connected.

What does a day at the museum, wine tasting, or kayaking around Bodega Bay all have in common? They’re all past excursions that we’ve taken as a part of our quarterly inspiration days. We also host Maker Mondays to get keep our creative juices flowing, indulge in spontaneous happy hours, and throw a holiday party that is as full of joy as it is tacos.
